ABBIE ROGERS
CIVITAN CAMP
Past Projects
For decades, the Abbie Rogers Civitan Camp has been held at Camp Iti Kana, which belongs to the Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi. Civitan Camp has an agreement with the Girl Scouts that allows use of the camp through 2045, and we hope the strong partnership extends beyond that time!

2014
Office / Infirmary / Front Porch - Generous donations from John and Claire Curtis and others allowed rebuilding falling floors and expanding the front porch... A favorite gathering spot.

Thanks to Touchstone Electric, we have new wiring and plugs in many cabins.

2010 - Present
Thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Lynn McMahon and John and Claire Curtis, 6 bathhouses have been rebuilt.

2005
Rain at camp? That's okay; with this Pavilion the fun doesn't have to stop! The seed money for this building was given by the Hood family, the Pierce family, and the Richardson family - with additional donations from others as well. Placed in the center of camp, it has become a main gathering place.
