Terri Daniels, M.Ed.

Co-Director

Terri is a consultant for Southern Mississippi Neonatology at Forrest General Hospital. She provides neurodevelopmental evaluations and treatment for sick and preterm infants. Terri and her husband, Troy, have two married sons, and a fun growing family. She loves spending time at any and all beaches, is a NFL football fan, and thinks about camp all-year long.

Chris Potin, BS

Co-Director

Chris is the natural resources manager/supervisor at Camp Shelby, overseeing natural resource management programs. His work ensures that military training and operations are conducted in accordance with federal and state regulations. Chris is married to Jean Anne and has two sons, Jobi and Fletcher. When not working, Chris is all things Southern Miss and a runner! 

Molly Hanberry, MFA (MA)

Youth Week Camper Coordinator

Molly teaches college literature and any writing class you can imagine—from freshman composition to senior seminars and courses for soon-to-be teachers. When not working, Molly is involved in various church ministries and loves reading, music, and spending time with friends, family, and her dogs.

Betsy Mercier, BA

Youth Week Activity Coordinator

Betsy is the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Hattiesburg and is responsible for cultural and art programming, athletics, community facilities and spaces, landscaping, cemeteries, events, and more. When not at work, Betsy spends time at their family farm, cheers on USM, serves others in the community, and celebrates her friends.  

Aubrey Sanders, CPA

Youth Week Camper Coordinator

Aubrey is a certified public accountant and an audit manager at a public accounting firm. When not at work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, especially with her nieces and nephew!

Ann Brauner, BS

Adult Week Activity Coordinator

Ann is a 4th-grade math and science teacher in Louisiana. Ann is busy keeping up with the happiest little toddler 24/7 when not in school or camp!

Mary Claire Ficken, BS

Adult Week Camper Coordinator

Mary Claire is a special education teacher at Forest County Agricultural High School. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Benjamin, and their dog, Lilly, staying active through workouts, and tending to her garden. You can find her lifeguarding at the Hangout when she's at camp. 

Dylan Fields, RN

Adult Week Infirmary Coordinator

Dylan Fields is a full-time nurse at Forest General. He has a beautiful family that loves everything outdoors. In his free time, he enjoys being a huge sports fan, especially of baseball and football. “Geaux Tigers!”

Densie Lindley, RN

Youth Week Infirmary Coordinator

Denise is the Director of Surgical Services at Forest General. She has 29 years of experience as a registered nurse. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, home remodeling, family time, vacations, and, recently, freeze-drying food as a new hobby.
